D12: Action

2012 is also the Jubilee year for Malaysia. What is it during this season of that God wants to release to the church? What has He anointed us to do? It is to bring good news to the poor, to bring justice to the nation, to be a light to the gentiles, to open the eyes of the blind and to free captives and release those who sit in darkness. To be anointed means we have God’s unction and authority to do all of the above. What has God laid on your heart to do after these 40 days of fasting and praying? In what ways can we bring light to the gentiles or justice and hope to the peoples, especially for those who are sitting in dungeons of darkness? Pray for the Spirit of the Lord to move us into action. Pray, too, for Christians whom God has placed in positions of authority and influence to that they will want God’s anointing for their tasks and never rely on their human strength.

I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, 7 to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. (Isa 42:6-7)
