Day 33 (Thursday 9 September) - Lay Down Your Crown

Rev. 4:10 depicts a glorious scene of the 24 elders falling on their faces and laying their crowns in worship before the Lamb on the Throne. This scene in heaven gives us a picture of the Church acknowledging Christ as Lord. We need to bare all and cast ourselves before the throne of God, sacrificing our self significance, positions, achievements, dying to ourselves and "rights" in total submission to live our lives for His sake! We need to see the best in others, strengthening, empowering and releasing the next generation and those who follow behind to come forth without strife and competition! Are you willing?

Reflection: Rev 4: 9-10, 7:9-17. Seek God for the revelation of your heart and what He requires of you.

Prayer Points
■ Renounce and repent on behalf of the Body of Christ for self-seeking ways, strife, competition, insecurities and contention, envy, jealousy... Pray for deepening love and passion for Christ and for the lost.
■ Spiritual leaders/pastors/elders in churches that their lives and walk will be prompted by an expression of perfect humility, love for God, for one another and for all people groups.
■ To be filled with wisdom, spiritual insight and discernment; empowering, strengthening and releasing every generation to fulfill his/her calling.
■ Greater unity in strategic networking to fulfill the Great Commission among all churches. New wave of pioneers to be raised up and sent forth to reach the unreached.
