God has raised a generation of youths with a "different spirit". As Caleb in Numbers 14:24, they bear the seal of servants of the Lord who follow Him wholeheartedly. With boldness and faith, they stand to inherit all that the Lord has ordained for them. They are an overcoming generation, a people convicted by the Lord's revelation through which they are empowered to live as "more than conquerors" (Rom 8:37-39), with the potential of impacting the present and the future generations. It is time we recognise, empower and release this generation to "take this land"!
Claim the fulfillment of Numbers 14:24 and Rom 8:37 for the young people. Pray for yourself, your children and other young people by name. Let the love of God so saturate young lives that they walk with a different spirit, carrying an anointing of favour with God and man.
Prayer Points
■ Plead the Lord's mercy on youths who have substituted their passion for God with other passions which have alienated them from God and the Body of Christ. Declare that nothing can separate them from His love.
■ This generation of young people to have a different spirit, with a heart of submission to authority in their homes, churches and schools.
■ Spiritual leaders to be role models to teach, lead and mentor them to be future leaders after His own heart.
■ A powerful movement of this young generation who will embrace their destiny for this nation, to be actively engaged in the public square to be His voice to stand for justice and righteousness.
