Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:10-13)
The marketplace is no ordinary realm. It is a realm dominated and controlled by the god of this world. It is a realm that feeds on the greed of men and exalts the desire for more money. It is a realm where ungodly ways are common and acceptable. To penetrate, influence and succeed in this realm, one cannot do it without prayer. The powers behind the system must be paralyzed before we can bring transformation to it. This requires every marketplace believer to be grounded in their faith, clothed with God’s armor and engaged in prayer

- Their hearts to be upright and governed with the right motivation
- God’s divine protection and favor to preserve and enable them
- Demonic and corrupt powers behind our financial system to be paralyzed.
