Media is the tool by which information is communicated and disseminated. It includes newspaper, television, radio and the internet for various purposes such as advertising, marketing, public relations, political communication, entertainment, news and announcements. While some of regulations may be needed to restrict young minds from exposure to corrupt and unhealthy materials, the suppression of the media that conceals facts and information can be abused for the purposes of control and tyranny. The government exercises control over the mainstream media but due to the proliferation of the internet, people now have access to alternate perspectives
