Day 38: Give Thanks

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philemon 4:6)
As we approach the close of our 40-Day Fast and Prayer, we want to begin to offer our thanksgiving to God. Thanksgiving expresses our gratitude for all He has done, the acknowledgement that all things come from Him and the confidence that He will do what He has promised. Thanksgiving is a reflection of our attitude and faith towards God and is an important ingredient of prayer. When our prayers and supplication is accompanied with thanksgiving, it becomes as sweet incense unto God.

Prayer Points:
  • Thank God for His accompanying Spirit and grace that has help us through the last 37 days
  • Thank God for the many that had sacrificed their meals and time to stand in the gap
  • Thank God for His enduring promises that can never fail
  • Thank God for all that He will do in response to our prayers.
