“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me; because of this He has anointed Me to proclaim the Gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and new sight to the blind, to set at liberty those having been crushed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19)
Much of our lives is shaped by the media. The media has been known to influence communities and shape nations. Governments understand the influential power of the media. Whoever controls the media controls the mind and life of people. Through the media, we can be a positive influence for God. Currently, the Christian involvement in the media is low. It is not because of the lack of talent. False perception and the high costs involved are among the major reasons for it. If we desire to influence and inspire change in the nation, we must explore and penetrate into this sphere of influence. We need to raise our own production house, producers and artists.
